Beach Craving

Went Beach today with Anwen and Kayna! Kayna didn't bring her bathers so we bummed on the beach taking photos mostly - with some lunch inbetween :)

I have been missing the beach ALL summer! and this was the first time i went - ALL SUMMER! I didn't realise how much I missed it till I was actually there!

We took a million photos so I'm only going to post some.

Indian Food for the first time

Watched a Christmas story ballet today at some church in Cockburn. My Aunty took Theresa and I. It was performed by dancers from Tokyo performing with the Australian Ballet Company (I think that's what I heard...). Really, they had the hottest upper bodies! Their arms had NO fat, just toned and nice! so jealous :( I think they put the show together themselves, from music to choreography. It was some interesting taste in music (I think it didn't really go sometimes), but overall I enjoyed it :)

I had Indian food in a restaurant for the first time tonight. I went to Cinnamon Club in Applecrosss. I must say, I was quite skeptical at first. I've never been a fan of spices. And Indian food tends to have many mixed together, its too strong for my liking. I had no idea what I was up for. Between the three of us we shared three dishes, naan and some rice.

It doesnt' look like very much right? It was A LOT OF FOOD! We couldn't finish it!!!! We figured it was because the sauces were realllly creamy and Theresa and I had been eating all afternoon! But, overall we did well for three girls :)

Another day at work

I woke up this morning and did NOT dread going to work

that is very rare :/

And this morning has been very interesting.

I spent my first hour talking to my colleague. I found someone who hates job interviews as much as me :) I only got in about five minutes of work before the emergency evacuation went off. This was around 8am. I was clueless as to what the sound was my colleague had to guide me as to what the alarms meant. The first one was a warning/prepare to evacuate, the second one was to evacuate (in an orderly manner). I had done the training for this too, my memory is terrible ._." We must have looked like a bunch of ants leaving its colony from birds eye view.

A very good 30minutes of my work time spent evacuating the building, walking to Kailis and then coming back to find that the detector in procurement was faulty :) What happend was the the guy who was assigned to fix such errors was in the toilet! So yes he didn't quite make it on time and the evacuation alarm sounded :P This detector should have gone faulty around 2pm when I have sleepy hour, not 8am in the morning. One of my colleagues had just gotten into the office and only had one shoe on haha. Hopefully there'll be something interesting this afternoon to share.

I didn't even have to wait for the afternoon, we got a notice of a meeting about five minutes before it started around 9.30 :) that took up another good 45 minutes of my time.

Its about midday now. Work is very boring. But I definately prefer this to studying.

Someone brough out scones with crem and jam and another brought out cookies and seriously, you wonder why people who work in offices just get fatter and fatter :/ Good thing I don't enter the kitchen or walk past the table where they put the food, or else I be seriously tempted and that would be extremely bad!

This afternoon is going by realllllly slowly... so bored ._,"

Ok next thing I know, there's paper and work everywher, and the last hour went so fast i don't know where it went!

I got a haircut today

My hair now sits just slightly longer than my shoulders it feels so weird

Angie suggested I keep going and turn it into a bob... I don't think it would go though, plus I am too scared to cut one xD

I also shopped - not for myself AND not my own money!

I need to do things like this more often - shopping for someone else with someone elses money - just to feed my shopping urges :)

We celebrated Kevlo's Birthday tonight - on his actual birthday :) That doesn't happen too often these days. Anyways, we found ourselves back at Tony Roma's... I do not remember why, but I'm pretty sure some of these guys have not been anyway :)

We actually started the night meeting up at Kev's place cuz we didn't want to drive so many cars into the city. We took three cars in total :P There was a lot of us tonight. Also - the majority of them were on time :) We are improving!!! (usually we just tend to be late)

So we had some pretty interesting conversations over dinner ;P. The ribs tonight could have been better though, I have had better there. We also took like a million more photos, but I can't be bothered posting them ^^"

But - after a heavy dinner and very stuffed tummies... we still went back to Kev's for cake! Ok so at Kev's place, the fact that Kayna, Anwen and I were pretty much in a sausage fest became really obvious to us haha - and the photos to prove it!

Christine and Kayna's Birthday

Every year we always go out for dinner to celebrate Christine and Kayna's birthday although exams are just around the corer :) This year it just happened to be on Halloween! I had my wisdom teeth removed like just over two weeks ago, thank goodness it healed in time for this :D!

One thing we forgot to take a photo of - the waiters. They all had painted faces! As soon as I walked inside the waiter could tell I was freaked out haha. He told me to watch out because all the staff had their faces painted - great ._."

Like usual we will always take photos outside. We actually took about a million, but I'm only going to upload two :P At the same time we were contemplating dessert but we were WAYYY too full to fit anything in. I think we would have exploded

We got back kind of early so we hung out at mine for a bit before we called it a night. It involved a closet and shoe raid and some very random photos. oh- and a lot of girl talk ;P

Fishing phase 1

Today we went fishing.

Just for this, there was a 5am wake up!

see! it's still dark when the first fish was caught!!

and not many fishies out yet - but we got the good spot =)

robert joined us a little later when the sun was up and the fishies started coming out more

if you had a fish hooked it would come and try to steal your fish... so u had to reel it in pretty fast!

we had a random fellowship today.

of course must start with a prayer

then whilst we were waiting for food... we were given a couple of things to do... like people around blind folded and sort out jellybeans blindfolded!

the guys had a good headstart hey... but the girls caught up! and we beat them in the end =D

later us 4 watched "white chicks" - i swear serene is the craziest person you could ever watch a movie with. she jumps, screams, hides behind pillows and even runs away from the tv ._." (so much for the movie) i've never seen anyone more reactive to a movie ever haha - dw i stil love you serene =) -

Girlies Sleepover

Cliff's Graduation

today was a busy one.

work was boring as usual, but after work i went straight to uwa where we took photos with cliff for his graduation - jimee was in perth for a few days jus for this.

i went to the city after work to kill some time - some dude followed me up the escalators to target where i was looking at books, to talk to me :/ - where do guys find it in them to just walk up to total strangers and just talk to them?

we actually took many many more photos - but i can't be bothered to upload them - they are all pretty similar... plus/minus a couple of people, so i just put the group photo up.

we went to visit uncle arthur after this - but we didnt get to see him, it was pretty intense because it was the first time his children came to see him - so we just just talked to the family for a bit then we headed for dinners at the ramen place along roe street.

i still prefer nao ramen.

this time at Zapata's - a mexican restaurant. mexican is not my thing but since it was a staff party i shouldn't be a party pooper =)

they took one round of drinks... then dinner with another round of drinks... it was amazingly LONG and took forever to come haha... but i don't think that really mattered because everyone was caught up in conversations.

we ate dinner at Pizza Bella Roma in fremantle - it's along the coffee strip across the road from dome. Our table was the largest but we were still squished for space hey haha.

my friends went crabbing today! Actually it was kind of a good thing that i didn't go.. because the went into the ocean and used nets to catch them. i'd probably scream the poor crabs away then they would have caught nothing =P

but... i did get to cook and eat them =) yum yum yum!

Today was Eugene's birthday, and we also celebrated mum's because it was yesterday. This one was a family party.

i swear i was gonna explode by the end of the night. i ate cake - 3 nights in a row!!!!! (ate some on friday night at Wei's surprise birthday that he wasn't even surprised at - he just called us crazy ._.") - not to mention the amount of food i shoved into my stomach, it was quite sickening, but i survived the weekend! =)

Now... where should i start? this is going to be one damn massive ass blog!!!

alright i will start from the flight there.... all the way to the flight back!

i was really sad to leave Perth and totally regretting to go theo =( wilson, cliff and serene arrived at my place at about.. 4am! and dad drove us to the airport, where we met up with esther.

i've never been "air-sick" before... but after these two flights.. i found a new developed sickness - totally unwanted :( wilson was holding a barf bag for me and esther looked at me like i was about to barf on her ^^"... BUT!!!! in the end i did not barf at all =) just super queasy

cliff left his fone on the whole plane trip there ._." and from perth to sydney its like.. 4hrs.
we were picked up by.. um... dammit i forgot.. i think it was anthony? and ling qian?
yeah perth airport totally sux friggn ass! *sigh*

ok. by this point i was already regretting sydney and just wanted to go home.

when we got to women's college... me and esther were fully... wth? we had no idea what to do. but then i saw Lisa! alas, a familiar face! but yeah esther totally didn't recognise her it was so funny =P she's like... "is that Lisa who came to Perth?!" and then we went to put our things in our rooms and came back down.... found nothing to do so went back up to bum around! we were so damn bored lol, wondering who our roommates were lol - and jetlagged!

~theo - women's college~

theo was friggn cold! seriously.. eastern states haf weather issues! i was bloody freeeezing!!!

um.. ok i am not going to go through this day by day.. cuz i realli cannot remember chunks of it.. but i will say whatever i can remember...

opening ceremony was a thursday so classes started on a friday.

my roommate was Norna, she was so cute.. she told me: "I'm so glad you can't speak chinese!!!! I tell everyone here to speak to me in english so i can improve... but they just speak to me in chinese!!!"

i was seated next to tray.. and... hrm.. i don't remember who was on the other side of me. she didn't speak english, and i don't speak chinese.

Elder Tsai was nuts. he gave us 3 assignments and a test. well he gave us the answers too =P but thats besides the point haha.

i got told off on the 2nd day for being too loud.. and many times after that on consecutive days - all by ernie, the disciplinarian.

i fell asleep.... a LOT! tray woke up me whenever she caught me sleeping =)
Btw, you really can't help falling asleep when you get less than 6hrs sleep a night and u are up at 5.30 and fast all the ways till 12. (thank goodness i didn't fast the whole time)

since esther's roomie didn't arrive till sunday, me and esther usually just hid up in her room cuz we didn't really know the people.. and it was super awkward cuz everyone has their cliques.

saturday... sabbath... holy communion! it was intense. they had class all the way till service then class straight away after 2nd service... well give 10 or so minutes to reset the room. lol way to get the congregation to buzz off straight after 2nd service...

i couldn't help but feel awkward.. you know when you can feel eyes on you... well this time i could actually SEE IT! it like wasn't discreet at all! its like full on elevator eyes. Perth people are not THAT weird are we? y do we call for elevator eyes from sydney peoples? :(

by now i was super sadded because i found that so many people were younger than me when i swear they totallllly look older than me and thus they should be older than me!

hrm... yeah aside from everything i have mentioned so far, classes were pretty interesting i guess... Pr. Shee taught us Hebrew:

Pr. Ezra gave us like 10000x pages of notes and hints out what will be in the tests =)

so at the end of one week, we were moving over to St. Pauls... people were telling me to soak up women's college cuz st. pauls is definitely not as nice. and there are some bugs... notice i said... SOME!

ok man did these people tone it down by A LOT!!!!

st. pauls was friggn COVERED in bugs.... COCKROACHES... they were frigggn MASSSIVE!!!!! and EVERYWHERE! it was suuuuper intense!!!! in the rooms, corridors, bathrooms, even rite outside!!! we had rooms to ourselves too.. and as much as i loved the aloneness... it was bloody damn freaky when there are bugs EVERYWHERE u are constantly living in FEAR!

ok so far i am telling theo as i see it and how i felt about it. its a skim over. at this point (1 week) i am missing home more than ever and can't wait to get back there. but don't get me wrong! by this point i have also met heaps of people and they are awesome people and are what keep me surviving theo. i am not going to talk about my personal thoughts on ppl tho because it... would really suck if i don't like u =P nah jk.. it would jus make me seem quite the bitch. i'm sticking to the actual theological experience itself since it's my first - the place, the class, the theo.

i'm also skipping the memories cuz like... if you didn't go you would just get super confused with so many different names.

where was i... lalalala... oh yeah. st. pauls.

man the roaches in sydney are bloody huge and the flying type ._." even the mozzies + their bites are friggn huge! i haf a scar from one.. which looks like a bruise :/ and i killed multiple for jojo haha. but thank goodness i didn't have any encounters with the funnelweb spider. i would have totally flipped out if i did and cried and demanded to go home.

my fear of bugs, is super intense.

the rogers room we used for class was tiny.. like.. tineeeeeeeeeeeee! and i was in the front row and next to estherK. we kept falling asleep and waking each other up =P was funny cuz it was right infront of the preacher.

that room was intense... and also i started to get sick! according to yvonne i either had the flu or a dust allergy.

yep. defiantely missed women's college.

oh yeah.. elder tsai left and pr. vuthy came somewhere around this time... i think... ahah something like that.

i was a cranky bitch when i was sick.. and super agro - short tempered (i get agro being in the same company for too long. its intense - same people everyday every hour almost... too much!!!!)! but no one ticked me off and so i managed to stay normal for the days and just rage in my room before i sleep =) n den cry cuz i was supa homesick

ok dont get the wrong impression on that. i got super agro at youth camp as well, and that's only like.. 3 or 4 days! considering that... i think i survived quite well in theo (something ernie will never understand and thus he decides to shoot me in the back - you will only get that if you are in my counselling group) its nothing personal people!

we had an outage in the rogers room so we moved permanently downstairs to the chapel. it hell bruised my ass hey. the seats were fully intense. everything was wood! without cushioning! me jo created our little pile of mess and esther has this neat little stack next to her. it was awesome =)

pr. vuthy spent quite a few of his sessions not talking about ezekiel, but instead on other topics which were rather interesting, like.... apologetics, sexuality (homo), is the devil a fallen angel? and stuff... are people in the eastern states like.. innocent or just shy? very sheltered. they were so quiet hey. i would have said stuff but like... i should just shut up and conform or else i will get into MORE trouble ._." i kept my opinions for counselling... cuz it's a small group and i really needed to get some opinions out. they are so quiet! thank goodness serene was in my counselling group after nwys.

He also decided to teach us very random things like.... make 301 into a box... and 5+5+5 = 550

There was a day where they gave a "treat".. n we got icypoles after exercise =) annnnd... ernie decides to give me, esther and jojo our icypoles LAST! and he suddenly pulls the box back and says "wait, aren't you three the reduced calorie intake group?" *wth face?* *everyone cracks into laughter*

owh! we went on a field evangalism... it was rather... um... interesting! my counselling group was sent to Newtown... which is a place where the "alternate lifestyle" ppl hang out, i.e. the homo's lol. thank goodness the people were nice enough to not reject our pamphlets.. most of the time =P we split and went up and down the uber long road.. my small group came across this dude holding pamphlets for a book store... we swapped pamphlets! he was wearing short shorts... like.. old ones.. with a dress shirt, checkerd i think, coat - brown! and tie ._." weird much!? an he had curly hair lol. oh we also stuck the pamphlets up in a public laundry =)

there was one night where jojo had like.. 4 of 5 mozzies in her room hey.. she came knocking on my door twice that night to go kill mozzies ahahaha.. and in the end she gave up.. and came to my room with her pillow lol. i didn't have one mozzie in my room for the wholee two weeks at st. pauls but when jo crashed... she brought two mozzies with her!! we killed them and slept peacefully the rest of the night =) - you need to know, the place was SWARMING with mozzies - and one of the nights... everyone's room pretty much was raided with mozzies.. and they woke up swollen ^^"... but not mine =) [thank god] i would be one seriously angry cranky bitch if i had mozzies keeping me up all night.

people were also telling me that the last 2 weeks actually go by really fast... oh how wrong they were :( it was exactly the same! i guess only the last week went fast cuz we had tests and assignments to cram lyk shit in!!!! i didn't even put pen to paper for ezekiel and we had to write three friggn essays - o well :/ - they took away our tutorial times.. so they should also lesson our work to make up for that ._."

hrm.. i ate the hot food every now and then. according to wilson the food has gone a lot worse than it was two years ago, hrm.. at least it's still edible, just.. not very appealing half the time ^^" i stuck to the breads and the salad bar =)

oooo and on like.. the last week? i saw christine durant and laura pitts! weeeeeee talk about weird. ok so after 2 weeks with the same people 24/7 i was just a bit more than insane... and working reallly hard to keep myself in check and not snap. but then.. i see new people!!!! i was sooo happy to see someone NOT from the same group i have been with for the past forevers =) but it was the most random thing to see them in sydney. but since they were there for a choir thing i guess it alll made sense lol. they were staying at women's college.. where we at st. pauls, went to everyday just eat our meals.

ok so my meal table was quite quiet at first.. correction. super quiet. it was like talking to myself so it felt reli awkward to talk. but it was alright after a week or so.

i am super negative about theo. yes i do realise that. but i am not going to fake the blog for the sake of viewers, sorry - but those were my thoughts and SOME of the memories from theo. of course there were the good, funny, blonde, memorable moments - those are all on facebook and everyone can read them. all in all theo wasnt TOOOOO bad - i did learn a lot in the classes - which of course was the main point of going to theo - i will consider going again but i will pass on sydney for about 100000000000 reasons - the way the whole course is run totally affects the concentration

no offense but theo is pretty strict up the bum about too many things :/ this may be just sydney but they also have some double standards (note: this may or may not be intentional - that is just what i noticed) and show a hint of biasness.

i never got why the closing ceremony was such a big deal.. they will all see each other again the next year! since everyone there has known each other for years anyway. but yeah i was super happy and excited because.. theo was OVER (cept the rules and regulations still applied... but it seems only to certain people! *cough cough cough*) and i was going home the next day! yey yey yey! oh.. i also got my phone back. my baby!

yeah we all sung some hymns... melbourne did a skit... sydney did a musical... and afterwards we all hung out in the rogers room after and sung hymns, bum and eat noodles hahaha. we were there till like... 11.30 - for once they weren't being super anal and let us have some chillout time =)

ok that night i was on the phone from... like 12 - almost 3 i think. i was supposed to go crash with esther and jo but i figured they would be already asleep and i didn't want to wake them up. i didn't get to sleep till maybe around 3 hey.. and i woke up at 5.30 =) i was super dizzy when i first woke up, but i was okay for the rest of the day.

okay so they gave us like forever to look at a building (opera house) and a bridge... and gave us about 25 minutes or so to scavange for food... so sad :( didn't even get to shop... and before i knew it....

we were going back to st. pauls. it was around 3-4, we just bummed in the courtyard signing books and playing games and chilling till dinnertime. we were really supposed to go back into the chapel but dcns. esther, who had the keys, was caught up somewhere els, but the fresh air was definately nice =)

oh! on the way to the airport, we passed a motorcycle accident! *cringe* ther was blood allllll over his leg and it was like.. everywher!!! luckily some dude across the street ran over, stripped his shirt off and gave it to the guy to cover it up. the bike was like... some distance ahead smashed into smth huge - luckily the mc driver was alive!!!!

at the airport we bought krispy kremes =) and walked around before our flight. seriously hey.. perth airport needs to improve itself.

We really wanted to go to San Churros... and so we made time for it!

Time was tight cuz Anwen had to be home at 9 for a flight that night =P so we got out early and headed back early =)

We hadn't decided on where to eat dinner.. but we wanted to eat something light so we could pig out at San Churros instead xD and we ended up settling for San Drino's.. which was right next door to San Churros =)

Ruths Birthday

Today was Ruths birthday and so we went to Outback Jacks!

(knowing how she does not like asian foods =])

we had a really early dinner... when we got there we were like.. one of the first tables haha. but the place eventually filled up and became really full.

there was a kids room there! it had like.. 8 video games lol. and since you always to wait a while for steaks.. the majority of our group went into the kids room ._." was quite funny because some time after this family comes in.. and the children wana go into the kids room... but they were scared cuz all these old asian's occupied it =P we had to tell them to leave the room so the REAL kids could play ahahah =P

and knowing western places.. they feed you like you are pigs!

but... when we got there.. which was like.. 9pm... it was closing! rah rah rah the places LIES! so we went over and bummed around on the grass for a while... haha some little girls like.. 7 or 8 yrs old were like.. doing cartwheels.. and ruth offered to do one too but we rejected the idea xD

oooo it was really random but there were fireworks!!! we dunno what they were for... but there were fireworks! ahaha isn't that awesome? fireworks on your birthday!

Tonight we had a girls night out and went to Halu for Kayna's birthday =) and we also celebrated Xtine's late birthday ^^

Ok so i find myself procrastinating the very next day... at work!
and.. since i havn't been here in two weeks... i hav a great mountainload of paper o.O"
but here i find myself blogging and listening to music (when i'm not allowed to hehehe), with piles of paper here and there around me.

*sigh*... no more free facebook for chreeeeee =( so sadded. i guess this is what i am left with all websites like FACEBOOK and EBUDDY are banned... and obviously no msn. (this is the downside to large organisations! The internet is monitored!)

ok.. it is now 11.16 according to this computer clock of mine... i hav approximately 4.5 hours to go! and i've been here for about.. 3.5 hours!

i finally managed to get somewhere! ok i have reduced my big fat stack of paper by about 1/4... i literally do not know what to do with about 1/5 of it so i will have to ask a supervisor.. which i cannot b bothered to do at the moment.. but i think she is in a meeting anyway... so i will sit here and talk to myself! ok sounds like a plan! =D at this current moment romeo and juliet (cao ge and that chik) is playing.. and i'm staring out the window at big fat ugly bottlebrush trees which, if i get near to, will murder my nose. i came into the office this morning sneezing at a rate of about 3 to 4 sneezes per minute.. good thing for me is that there were others i could hear sneezing and sniffling around too =D and since then my sneezing has died down but my body kinda aches wheneva i DO sneeze.

11.48... lol omg it hasn't been 1 hour! this is insane. really!

12.05...... LUNCHTIME!!!! yet.. i find myself still sitting at my desk.. blogging away... not quite goin for my lunchbreak yet... because... someone has just left a fresh new pile of paperwork on my desk!!!!!!!!!! rawr!

12.53...... i finally got my break and jus read about 4 chapters of my book! =D i couldn't put it down ._." anyways.. i hav just under 3 hours to go!!!!! i cant WAIT to get outta here =) ok back to doing boring paperwork :(

1.02.... IM FALLING ASLEEEP!!! eyes.... so... sleeeepy...................... noooooooooooooooooooooo....

2.47... wow.. almost 2 hours has passed.... im AWAKE!!! about 1 hour ago... my colleague ann came to find me cuz we had some training on emergency evacuation! hahah fun fun fun o.O" no not really.. i nearly fell asleep during the powerpoint presentation part.. lols.. but then the guy sounds off the emergency evacuation noises in the room n it was like a wake up call. after the presentation we had to go back to our desks.. then practice evacuating.. an the guy would meet us at a designated place. ITS SO HOT OUTSIDE! the last time i was outside it was like 7.30am and still nice and cool... ._."!!!! and i ended up walking past the wholeeeeee bunch of bottlebrushes which i was staring at outside my office!!!! on our way back into the building i was forever sneeeezing... hehe the lady sitting at the desk beside me just gave me some clarytime (i dunno how to spell it), the poor lady has been listening to me sneeze all day. but yes, that was a very good waste of 1 hour... i hav approximately 45 mintues to go!!!! maybe even less =D

3.15... im FINISHED! and now ann has gone to look for more work for me to do haha. i kinda really hope she doesn't actually find anything o.O"

Helloooooooo I am BACK!!!

this semester has been insanely busy. so insanely busy till i am considering quitting one job o.O" i knew psych would gradually get harder and more busy... but i wasn't thinking anything like this ._." hahah i've been rushing deadlines all semester, even with the help of extensions (they were whole unit extensions too, which means i didn't ask for them... imagine if we WERENT given them ._." i think i'd b handing in a few late assignments =P) which reminds me... i have two assignments due in the nxt week or so...*sigh*... on the bright side.. the weathers heating up!!! =D im so excited! and missing the BEACH!!! about times we had some sunshine after a very wintery september o.O" (the only downside to this weather is hayfever! :(!!!!!!!)

hrm... i've spent a lot of time lately on books! its a strong battle now.. kdrama and books... i think i spend my time on books more now because i finish them a lot faster than i finish a drama.. which is wayyyyyyy more time consuming, but i am dearly missing my kdrama... and all the sitting on my ass is causing me to gain weight! ALOT of it... and FAST!! its so traumatizing! since i got my laptop i pretty much live on my bed... *sigh*.. i need motivation to exercise! tips on how to motivate ones self?

anyway... i will catchup with my blogging during the holidays... and i will b back to prcrastinate! =D

Both twins feet were KILLING them because they're both in heels and are not very used to it at all... so they headed back to the car a good 5-10 minutes before me and serene... but me and serene speedwalked our heels and we reachd the car the same time as them =D aren't we just awesome?!

btw, the car was parked on the street parallel to sandrinos, we took a different street down to the car than the twins so they never saw us coming =)

after saying for... just about forever!... that we will head to C15 for breaky sometime... we finally did it today!! and it was an early breakfast o.O around 8.30

then again it had to be early because i had to work at 10.... right across the road at dome! hahah and my boss found out and gave me a disapproving face.. it was more of a.. "you could have come here and gotten 50% off" =P but ohwelllllllls!!!! C15 is better than dome

Tonight we had a farewell dinner for Michael and Ken at Asia Cafe near money st.
We never been there before and thought we'd try it out.

~Monday, July 13~

Day 1 of camp... and just like every other year.. we were late and running behind schedule... one car had a flat tyre a few hundred metres out from the venue! but no, that is not the reason... it's simply because we're always late =P

hehe the tables were dirty... so everyone had to get scrubbing... me and esther just provided moral support =)

after the tables were scrubbed and the classroom and dining room was set up, everyone headed to get debriefed on the camp.

this is the classroom.. and the piano in it =P and where we spent a lot of time in the next few days... it was very crammed in here... people had to get quite cosy.

this was the second debriefing.. rules and regulations about the place..

just after debriefing... we played some break the ice games... (lame waste of time!!! ._." 99% of ppl knoe each other.. should just introduce face to face)

haha i forgot what esther was pointing to.. but i seem to be interested =P
there were many odd photos around the place.

that afternoon we had class... deacon mark taught that class... and due to running late all day, we had dinner straight after. That night after dinner.. we had our first activity, where we were told we had to perform a skit on the last day! and we had the next couple of nights to form and rehearse it.

After this.. we had discussion session, they were talking about finding joy... then prayer.. then a bit of freetime before bed...

quite unfortunately.. the power CUT!! heaps of people were in the shower and it was COLD! poor people had to shower in the dark and we froze our bums off that night o.O

~Tuesday, July 14~

morning mist... so pretty =)

first thing in the morning... exercise ._." i think i was the last person out.. and late =) we played dodgeball.... DODGEBALL!!! on the left there ashton and ben fell over.. ashton had a nasty scrape looking thing on his arm (i think a whole layer of skin came off?)

and so we found out tat the previous night we completely burrrrned the electricity and the heaters were BANNED.. there was only one for the preacher... it was such saddening news =(

yeyy we all couldn't wait for breakfast!!

after breakfast.. we had spiritual nurture for two hours. preacher ezekiel was talking about how we are different o.O and only got through 3 out of his 6 points hehe. i expected to be quite bored and fall asleep in class.. but he was actually interesting to listen to and made his classes kinda funny. after class we played pictionary... ben and vince came up with some super hard things to draw haha.

like the previous day.. we had hymnal after lunch... i think i was falling asleep cuz i was sooooo tired. that arvo we had another class then we had some station games...

that night we spent more time on the skits and as usual had discussion session, prayer then a bit of free time before lights out =)

~Wed, July 15~

ok. by today... i was grumpy. i really don't understand how people can take camp =S. same people 24 hours... it was driving me pretty insane.

today was quite a long day. after the same routine of exercise, breakky and class... we did some pot planting!

all our materials plus serene's keys..

first.. each group to decorate their pots... everyone was out to grab the textas lol.. so impatient!

me and serene sent everyone on a bush walk... it was only about 5 minutes.. not very long.. and this little opening was very nice.. with the little river thing flowing through.

hrm.. we had two accidents.. jonny and vince both fell in o.O".. we did remind everyone to stay away from wet rocks.. but luckily they no1 was injured.

pot planting... we wouldnt let them use gloves.. just the bag...

the final results! one group there gave their plan a protective gate around it haha.

the activity was only one hour but it felt like a lot longer!... anyways.. we had lunch after that then the usual hymnal then class... that arvo we had to present our skits! i only took a couple of photos from each skit because michael took like 1000 photos!

this was supposed to be the beginning of our campfire.. but it started RAINING! every year it has been the same... the weather is perfect until the last night.. where it decides to RAIN just as we are about to have campfire.. it must be a sign...

we heard a few testimonies then headed off to sleep.

by the end of the night.. i had really had enough. i was avoiding converstaion with people and i was sooooo glad to be going home the next day.

FINALLY!!! it was the last day of camp. i was SOOOOOOOO excited to go home!! hehe.. by today i was just plain full out agro. i had to watch who i conversed with.

today we just cleaned up and packed all morning... and.. there was no exercise!! =D
we just had 1 activity.. which was the cookup... wich is also a tradition.

Kevin's Farewell Dinner

i have been sick all week! :( so saddening... anyway... today me, serene and wilson went to check out the site for youth camp so me and serene could organise our activity!

we ended up walking about 1/3 up the mountain and decided it was too dangerous and wayy too long for a 1 hour activity.. and then came back down. our pants and our shoes were ruined by the mud! :[ mine were at least... so sadded.

yeah.. we saw a spider.. and serene wanted to take a photo of it..

i hadn't eaten a meal all day.. so by the time we came down i was hungry!! but we continued to walk somemore... on another path! all in all we were out walking about for almost 2 hours... i was STARVING!!! we wanted to eat jajiangmian.. but it was closed =( so we went to spencer cuz it was nearby and we were so hungry.

that night... we went to nishi in myaree for kevin's farewell dinner... it was a party! we took up half the restaurant =) bonus was that joyce, gloria and ivy worked there... i think anyway.. i knoe joyce and gloria did =P

our table for 24.. i think it was about.. 5-6 of normal tables haha.
we wer pretty much separated into brothers and sisters.. felt quite strange actually lols.

mine and serene's meal still hadn't come.. but luckily either joyce or gloria? can't remember which one.. ninja'd some sushi rice from the kitchen so we had a little to eat while waiting for our food =P

by this point almost everyone (that incluse all the males at the table and most of the females) had finished their meals.. and me and serene's meal still hand't come!!!!!! it was the last to come out... but it FINALLLLLY came.. and everyone had to wait for us to finish eating =P we wer SOO hungry!!!!

My 19th Birthday

breakfast appointment got cancelled today =( becoz some thought it was lunch and had church in the morning... and all other meals were all booked out by others! so i got a little sleep in today... the plan was to go markets with dad.. but i was too lazy to get out of be =P and so i woke up in time to go eat some jajangmien? jajangmian? (how do you spell it?!) for lunch =) it was yumeeee.

yumyumyum =) it was funny because it was like.. 9 ppl ordering the same thing haha

i hadn't set any definate plans for the day, but i thought i wouldn't be home.. but then when i got to lunch they all told me they were going to crash my place! *sighz*... the effort in finding clothes to wear!!!!

after lunch we went to help richard move house... ken and richard ninja'd into the house to clean up cuz they wudn let anyone inside till it was tidied... (im guessing their dirty undies they leave around for each other to see ;) and so the rest of us waited outside until such time they decided to let the others in... actually that didn't happen, me and serene sent michael and wilson in to see why they taking so long... (bet you it was sexytimes).

wilson was comparing his and serene's car engines whilst waiting... he kept being mean to serene's baby.. lol.

xiao wei and the twins had decided to go straight to my house first, so they missed out on seeing richards new super dirty house that is pretty much not livable in =P

i wonder where richard got this ant killer box from lol.

after we finished helping him move it was about 2 something? almost 3? and we went back home while serene's car went to get some bbt for everyone =)

They also brought back cake! =)

We spent the afternoon painting cups for the elderly service... it was then we learnt of Richards artistic talent and it was so discusting because he was so creative and talented! so jealous =(! Serene fell asleep across two dining chairs... everyone was super noisy and playing piano etc etc... but she only woke up when she fell off the chairs onto the floor =P hehehehe... and she was completely oblivious to the piano and other noises ._." (i swear this is a skill!)

Today was really long! I spent the morning shopping with Angie and Carousel! The amount i spent.. is a secret =) I rushed home, changed, and went out again at night to meet up with the girlies! =)

It was fun

We ate dinner at Tony Roma's, the other girls hadn't been there before!

I could hear xiao wei and serene laughing... from the TOILETS!! when i returned to them... they told me their interesting thoughts that i fell into and got STUCK in the toilet bowl!!!! and then i assured them that if i did, i would scream their names super loudly... and then they said i would embarrass them till they will deny even knowing me and make a run for it!!! hahaha

maybe it was just the atmosphere that night, but it was really funny at the time. the others concluded that me and serene were high on water.

overall it was a yumee dinner! we were planning to head for some desserts after dinner.. but we were wayyyyy too full! so we walked ALLL the way to NB for some BBT!!!! hehehehe... it was like.. supa power walks!

ther was sum smelly old drunk man at the traffic light corner of Roe and William, he tried to talk to join our conversation ._." so we fell silent. A few minutes later serene has this super blond moment and says: "are they demolishing that building?"... we're all staring across the road where they are clearly CONSTRUCTING... and just burst out laughing. i don't know why we found it so funny but we just cracked up laughing! and then old smelly drunk guy fake laughed into it and we all fell silent again. super DODGY! as soon as the traffic light hit green.. we speeeedwalked for our lives!!!!!!!! there was another girl with us there. she was there before us.. alone! she was so scared of the drunk guy... luckily we came along!!

ever since i stopped eating from stress, my body went funkyy and all retarded, then now lyk...

omigosh i eat so much these days! can u believe it? i can fit 3 meals into one day!

it feels so wrong. i think i should try to chop them up into 5 or 6 little meals.

but yes, i think it's due to the super extremely cold weather, where i'm awake at about 6.30am and its still under 10 degrees when i wake up.

today is thursday. thus, i am at work!

can you believe it? i actually made myself a proper salad and stuff for lunch! i'm so proud of myself hahaha, usually i'm so lazy that i just make lyk a sandwich wif wateva's lying around and does not require much effort haha.

ok. this is my new blog layout.
it is.. simple =)

ooo i have had, the CRAZIEST week!!

yesterday, i lost my wallet! i dropped it without noticing either. i had it out because i needed to swipe access into the computer lab, but when i got there someone had wedged a chair in the door so yeah i didn't need my card. but then later i needed to pee. so i searched for my wallet to get my card... and it was nowhere to b found!!!! i dunno why, but lyk.. my heart wasn't pounding or anxious or anything, but my head was like... omg where did i drop it?!?

luckily this asian guy handed it in to the psychology office. the lady was telling me he was really cute, and he was like... "i promise i didn't touch anything, her student card is inside.." ahaha too bad he didn't leave his name, i wud haf wanted to thank him =) how lucky.. finding sum1 like that at curtin!!!

then like... later that evening, i left in quite a hurry, and accidentally left my usb in the usb hole!! (usb = attatched to keys!!) and when i got home that night, mum opened the door! so i didn't need to search for my keys. This morning, i couldn't find them! i thought i left them in Wilson's car, so i wasn't freaking out... but then like... when i got to class at 2pm, i found them, still attatched to the computer i was using yesterday!!

how lucky am i huh? Thank God o.O!

yes, that made my week, now im all happy and hypo.
but sadly, i have to study for a test on friday =(

we decided on this small pizza place in inaloo
btw, i was super hungry and grumpy by this point i was saying so much krap just randomly and quite out of line, but i suggested icecream and the beach afterwards just for the sake of giving a response to someone who asked what we were doing afterwards...
i wasn't actually serious but hey they decided to icecream and beach! haha
There was some event on at Scarborough beach.. band + fireworks.. free show =)

Spent the whole morning up north in Morley Galleria
waiting for Wilson's car to be fixed.

Galleria is really boring... =P seriously i think we sat down somewher in the foodcourt nearly the whole time! haha.

Den we decided to drive out alll the way to Mundaring to eat Pizza wif da bunch who went out travelling/sightseeing... the trip out sounded so far, but it turned out to be about 40minutes at the most! chehh!!!

Wonders of Foxtel

Rockingham was about a 20 min train ride away! i was expecting it to be longer...
We waited 45 mins or so outside the house for the landlord to come with they keys.

The house was upsidedown =P kitchen & living area was upstairs!!
while there were 3 more bedrooms downstairs.

They played Big 2 to see who would be doing dishes for the night because the girls cooked. Amelia played for kevlo cuz he dunno how 2 play.. and she won! so Kevlo escaped dishes that night =P

.Day 2.
Long Day

No one could sleep properly the previous night, so everyone was up by about 9am
Went shops in the morning to pick up some things we needed for that night. We also discovered that the shopping centre was really goood! it was better than garbo... or somewhat the same. it had good shops and it was about the same size!

Anyways, came back by middayish to make lunch and then.. if my memory is correct, then i pretty much watched my trashy american shows all day =P
Gossip Girl. The City. The Hills.. and the alike... wakakaka =D

That night we watched mirrors. not very koool at all! hrmph!
i made some of them watch Made of Honour afterwards with me =)

Me and Angie were up till 5 talking o.O but i still managed to wake up ohkae the next morning =D

Having almost no sleep the night before... everyone slept soundly... except maybe me *shiftyy eyes* angie slept in longer than me haha i was up at 8.30

By the time everyone else was up it was like.. around 11. and we ate garlic bread! haha strong healthy =D then we bummed infront of foxtel... then they went to do their pizza competition!! while ... i attempted to sleep. which failed cuz i couldn't sleep haha.

Victor and Snail came to join us today in the arvo and they stayed overnight =)

But yeah this is how the day went...

At somewhere nearing 11 or was it midnight? we went to the beach!! it was too cold to go in but the boys had a competition of who could get out the furthest by going in slowly (cuz its harder to go in slow)... bernana and elijah didn't do it.. we called them chickens.. so elijah decides to do it.. but he didn't hear the part about going in slow.. he just ran after them and dived in... which got them all wet and defeated the purpose of the comp! =P so we just went back to the house so the guys didn't get sick from being fereeeezing =P

more twister... but we also sat around talking about whatever was on mtv.. they were playing hits of 2000 hahahaha.. brought back funny memories =P

Another late night at 5am and another 8.30 wake up the next morning.

After ydae (and the weekend), i just wanted a nice quiet day..
but NOOO.. the long weekend was put to full use.

Helped mum clean a bit, then before you know it, people started arriving...
caught up with family i haven't seen in YEARS!

Today = Exhausting!
Didn't really sleep last night, which was completely retarded.. cuz i worked from 6.30 till 2.30! Haha i hit a few sleepy moments at work :P

Rushed home after work to make cupcakes! T she rushed over after her shift finished at 3. Surprisingly, the cupcakes were the easy part of cooking, we got through those no problem. Icing, on the other hand, we had to save BOTH! (we used 2 different recipes) which thankfully, we did =) then we just got ready as fast as we could and rushed over to Poogene's house!

So the night was as expected...
bit of asian gambling (poker, mahjong & big 2)...

too much noise to handle...
wayy too much food for our own good...
and the massive Chong family!

Was fun, we celebrated mum and eugene's birthday too, but by the time it hit 12.30 i was on the verge of KO! two full on days in a row and no sleep =P

we went to the beaach for a total of 3 hours today... so short o.O" i think it was becuz we went there on empty stomachs and were hungry before we got there... and way starving before we left =P

Me & Kayna actualli woke up early to go for breakfast! haha yeah.. shocker.. kayna woke up early!! =P actualli she was very amazed at how many people wake up and come to cafe's for breakfast. We went to c15 in applex... across the road from where i work lol.

haha after finishing our food.. the waiters asked if we were done and cleared our table.. we got their hint that they wanted us out of there cuz they were super bz and predee much full =P we wanted to look in the shops around applex.. but nooo da shops aren't open on sunday... seriously we need shops open on sundays! i needed to withdraw money so we went to high road... and walked around chan brothers for nothing hoping angie would be there.. but knowing that she was at church? hahaha so we were looking at chinese snacks =P

omg the weather is so HAWT!!!! and getting hotter!

i don't actually know why i found it so hot today, if i remember correctly.. xmas 2007 or was it new years 07/08?... it was like 40+... but either way today was HOT and i nearly melted to death! tomorrow is going to be 40 degrees... i think someone NEEDS to invent like a portable invisible bubble with aircon inside it... they will be so super rich and everyone will be so super happy.

I think summer is like the one time of the year i really catch up with friends and hang out. During the year we're all super busy ._." its all hi/bye or short conversations here and there or working o.O" anyway, after receiving news of xtine's house nearly being broken into, everyone was hanging out at xtine's house! and one night we decided we shall have dinner there!

the salad. it was perfectly healthy... till kevlo decided to squirt like 2/3 of the thousand island dressing all over it ._."!

yeah we ate fast... bcuz the boiz had a bball game =) Jsontan, Victor, Kevlo, Ming, Shin & Schrader do some 5 on 5 tournament thingo at willo stadium. it was like the first time i ever went to one of the games. when i entered the stadium i was actually quite amazed cuz i never knew such a thing existed and that so many people actualli competed. hehe tonight they versed some hell agro older men, and won =P i think the older men wer quite agro cuz they were being beaten by asian guys (mostly, excluding schrader =P) who're smaller than them, keke. Then at somepoint near midnight, a few of us were stil hanging around so we decided to eat some cake =).

do not be decieved. it was super yumee. the cake was liek creamish, not sponge, so i definately assume it was super unhealthy, but it was just super yumeee...

i spent the last few days of the year cleaning my room! actually the day after i arrived back in perth i went shopping straight away the next morning on boxing day xD! it was saddening. sale's in perth so bad =( and other than that i just cleaning cleaning cleaning! my room is actually not too bad anymore. i just don't know what to do with my toys!? anybody got any ideas?? they currently sit in a basket on the floor. i can't bear to throw all them out, but i dorno wher to put them & what to do with them!!! help!! anyway...

went tony romas with some family tonight. it was yumee =) never really enjoyed eating ribs, always thought they were quite messy. but these were yumeee.
